Payment Information

Save time, pay your bill through online bill pay with your bank for Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property tax, Business Tax Receipts, motor vehicle, mobile home, and boat registrations. Payments may also be made at any of our five offices by cash, check, credit or debit card. Please refer to Credit / Debit Card and Vendor Fee Restriction Information below.

Real Estate taxes and Tangible Personal Property taxes can also be paid via wire transfer. In addition, we accept payment online by VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or E-Check for current taxes. Please note that a vendor fee is charged by a third party provider for credit / debit card and E-Check transactions. Our office does not charge, collect or retain any portion of this fee. These fees can be viewed prior to making online payment on the Online Payment Menu page.

E-Check is an electronic fund transfer money withdrawal for the payment amount directly from the taxpayer's bank account. An E-Check will only be accepted if drawn on a United States bank account and payable in U.S. dollars.

Some payments are not eligible to be paid via the Internet. Delinquent Real Estate and Tax Deed redemptions require certified funds. Payment may be made by mail or at any of our five offices, conveniently located throughout Pasco County.

Note: Vehicle, Mobile Home, and Boat renewals and Hunting, Fishing, and Driver licensing renewals are transacted on websites sponsored by the State of Florida or a third party vendor Grant Street Group.  We provide the link to the available services; however, these services are not under the control of the Tax Collector.

CREDIT / DEBIT CARD VENDOR FEE AND RESTRICTION INFORMATION-

Our office accepts credit / debit card payments for most transactions. We are able to offer this convenient service through a third party vendor, Grant Street Group.  Please note that when selecting this payment option a vendor fee is charged by Grant Street Group. This fee is authorized by Florida Statute 215.322 and is paid in total to the credit card vendor; no part of it is retained by our office. This is the only way it is possible for us to offer credit and debit card services.

REAL ESTATE TAXES-

Remit payment at any of our five offices by cash, check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit or debit card or by mail; wire transfer; or online by E-Check or credit card. Please note that a vendor fee is charged by a third party provider for credit / debit card and E-Check transactions. This office does not charge, collect or retain any portion of this fee.

Delinquent Real Estate Taxes must be paid with certified funds i.e. Cashiers Check, Money Order, etc.

INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN FOR PROPERTY TAXES-

Taxpayers may choose to pay property taxes quarterly by participating in our installment payment plan. You may apply online by doing a record search for your parcel. An Installment Application may also be obtained at any of our five offices or downloaded from our website.

Registration is only available November 1st through April 30th.

PARTIAL PAYMENT PLAN FOR PROPERTY TAXES-

Taxpayers may choose to pay current property taxes by participating in our partial payment plan. Only the current year's taxes are eligible for the program.  Minimum payment is $100 per payment. Partial Payment Plan applications are available November 1 through March 31 of each year. By participating in the Partial Payment plan you forfeit the early payment discount associated with Real Estate Taxes.

PASCO COUNTY TAX PAYMENT PROGRAM-

Pasco County offers a Tax Payment Loan Program through the Division of Community Development.  This program is specifically designed to assist Senior citizens and homeowners with disabilities.

DEFERRED REAL ESTATE TAXES-

Applications are available in any Tax Collector office beginning November 1st. The deadline for filing an application is March 31st. Applications must be re-filed each year to determine continued eligibility. Several conditions must be met in order to defer taxes.

DELINQUENT REAL ESTATE TAXES-

April 1st of each year real estate taxes become delinquent. Please remit delinquent real estate taxes by Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Wire Transfer. Cash accepted in our offices. Do not mail cash. Personal and business checks will be returned, which may result in additional interest. Note: Escrow or Trust Account checks of Attorneys, Title Insurance Companies, Real Estate Brokers or Mortgage Brokers will be accepted. All entities must be licensed to do business in Florida.

BUSINESS TAX PAYMENTS-

FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE RENEWAL-

Driver License renewal forms are mailed directly from the Florida Division of Driver Licenses in Tallahassee. The renewal form will indicate whether you may renew by mail, or if you must renew in person.

At this time, State Policy does not permit Tax Collectors to renew Driver Licenses by mail. You may mail your renewal card and check to the Division's Tallahassee address provided on the renewal card, or through MyDMV Portal. Further information regarding renewal by mail may be obtained from the Florida Division of Driver Licenses. Contact Customer Service at (850) 617-2000, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., Monday thru Friday.

If required, you may renew in person at our New Port Richey, Gulf Harbors, Land O'Lakes, Wesley Chapel or Dade City offices. Florida law requires an additional $6.25 service charge for renewal at any Tax Collector Office. Please refer to documentation requirements.

FLORIDA IDENTIFICATION CARD RENEWAL-

The Florida Division of Driver Licenses does not mail renewal notices for Identification Cards. Identification Cards can be renewed over the Internet at MyDMV Portal or at our New Port Richey, Gulf Harbors, Land O'Lakes, Wesley Chapel or Dade City offices. Identification Cards cannot be renewed by mail. The expiration date will be found on the card.

FLORIDA MOTOR VEHICLE, MOBILE HOME, OR BOAT REGISTRATION RENEWAL-

Remit payment by check via mail; or at any of our five offices by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover and debit card. You may also renew online at RenewExpress.  Please note that a vendor fee is charged by a third party provider for credit / debit card and E-Check transactions. FLORIDA FISHING AND HUNTING LICENSE PURCHASE-

Licenses may be purchased at any Tax Collector Office; Wal-Mart; some sporting goods outlets; or from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission at 888-486-8356, or online at myfwc.com. Personal identification is required.
